About me

Woman practicing yoga outdoors on grassy field with ocean and cloudy sky background, balancing on one hand with one leg extended sideways and the other knee bent.

There are many types of yoga out there,  of different lineages, with various methods and from many parts of the world. But one thing links them all – yoga heals us.

And that is why I practice continuously with discipline, with tenacity through physical and mental hurdles.

It is also the very reason I teach, to share the magic it has done for me with you.

“I enjoy helping others create space in their body and heal through yoga.”

My yoga Story

Smiling woman with dark hair, wearing a gray top, leaning against a textured blue-gray wall outdoors.

I stumbled into yoga. (I really did!)

I had just moved countries and one of my best buddies invited me along to a yoga demonstration and class at her friend’s new studio. There I met my first yoga teacher, Master Yogananth. His practice and his classes were grounding and most importantly created the space and mobility I needed then, with all the trail running and weight lifting I was doing. Not only did I sign up for an annual membership but I registered for his next teacher training. I thought I might as well understand what I was doing in class if I was going to be practicing yoga.

What happened next was not what I had expected. I committed to almost a daily physical practice, studied yoga philosophy and became a vegetarian for almost a decade. I burnt all my work leave between visiting my spiritual teacher in Dharamshala, India and doing yoga trainings and workshops around the world. But that decade offered me my most profound personal discovery, understanding and growth.

I was stuck in a big career, complicated family relationships, impacted by generational trauma and I did not know how to get out.

As my practice deepened, the mental clarity allowed me to see what I no longer needed and did not serve me. And I started to understand the root cause of these heavy emotions - anxiety, anger and fear. With practice and time, they started to shed away - layer by layer.

I would have been a very different person without my yoga journey. Yoga offered me perspective. It gave me an opportunity to study myself and to make repairs - physically, mentally and emotionally. In the era we live in today, it is a method that has much value and definitely worth experiencing.

My Teaching Method

A woman doing a handstand in a yoga pose outdoors on a bridge with glass railings and a modern architectural structure overhead. She is wearing black athletic clothing and the surroundings include green foliage.

My approach is rooted in presence.

I guide each class with intention, not to push you beyond your limits, but to help you understand them. Through mindful sequencing, steady breathwork, and clear alignment cues, I create space for strength and softness to exist together.

Every body is different. Every day is different. That’s why I teach responsively, offering options, modifications, and progressions so you can meet yourself exactly where you are.

I deploy several techniques – from hatha, wall rope, breathwork and energy work to support you on your healing journey. I have worked with students to achieve their goals in needing to improve their spinal mobility, release anxiety and recover from injuries.

I also have experience teaching children with autism, cancer survivors and seniors.

Improving Mobility and Alignment

Mobility is freedom. Alignment is efficiency.

Through mindful sequencing and precise cues, we work to increase your range of motion while maintaining structural integrity. The goal isn’t extreme flexibility, it’s functional, supported movement that feels natural and sustainable.

Mental Clarity Through Movement

Movement can be meditation.

When you bring your breath in to your postures and practice, distractions begin to quiet. This focused awareness creates space from mental noise and builds a stronger connection between body and mind. The result is a clearer head, a steadier mood, and a greater sense of presence.
